Benefit this Saturday!

We are down to the wire! We have had so many wonderful items donated and are so excited for Saturday!  Just a reminder, the evening will begin at 5:00 on Saturday, February 2 in the Kanesville Arena at Iowa Western Community College. If you don't have money to bid, just pay $5 to come eat some ice cream!  There are too many items to list, but here are some examples of what we have received:

-A 2004 Saturn Ion from Edward's Auto Group
-A 5 Day trip to Branson, MO for 4
-Sports Camps and gear from the Softball, Basketball, and Soccer coaches from Iowa Western
-Family fun baskets
-Professional hair care products
-Gold Canyon Candle/Diffuser sets
-Overnight stay at Harrah's with a $100 gift certificate to the restaurant 360
-Bedroom set

There are so many more!  We will also be holding a bake sale,  a "buy now" table, a raffle, and "split the pot". Please come and enjoy the evening! We will hold the silent auction from 5:00-6:45 and the live auction will start at 7:00 for the larger items.  All items will be taken home with you that evening if possible!

Glenda passed away last night, her fight against Cancer ended. We will still be holding the benefit to help the family with costs so they can focus on grieving and not on bills. Thank you for your continued support of this wonderful, deserving family.

Helping Glenda and Her Family

Glenda Dillon was diagnosed with an Adenocarcinoma of the cystic duct that moved to her Liver.  In March 2012, she was diagnosed with stage 4 Liver Cancer and immediately began undergoing Chemotherapy and Radiation treatments.  Since then, she has had more than 3 different kinds of Chemotherapy.  She was working as a Special X-Ray Technician at Methodist Hospital in Council Bluffs, IA, but had to quit in August 2012 because of her health.  She has had 2 surgeries and 5 hospital stays since March.  We are trying to support Glenda and her family in their fight against Cancer by raising funds for hospital bills through a Benefit Auction and Cash Donations.  If you wish to donate, please click on the paypal button, or attend the Ice Cream Social and Auction being held
